For centuries people have believed that a picture is worth a thousand words. And once colour was discovered, it was said that a picture in colour was worth a million words. But, frankly, from what we have seen, we beg to differ. A picture can never compete with what Mother Nature has on offer. As someone famously said, "I have seen more than I can remember and I remember more than I have seen!" We can never hope to capture on film the many splendours that reside in many of the wonderful regions we have travelled. What follows is a vain attempt at recreating the magic.
